IBM
Over the last ten years, IBM has been one of the largest corporate
contributors of cash, equipment, and people to nonprofit organizations
and educational institutions across the U.S. and around the world. In all
efforts, IBM helps people use information technology to improve the
quality of life for themselves and others.
IBM believes the same information technology innovations that are
revolutionizing businesses can provide important breakthroughs for public and nonprofit organizations.
These technologies have potential to help organizations deliver better services, manage costs, maximize
effectiveness and implement exciting new programs.
IBM, through the UWOC Teaming for Technology project has contributed over $100,000 in new
technology for area nonprofits over the past six years, which is now allocated under the community impact
model by the United Way Technology Committee.
